Daron designed this entire thing himself. He spent months this past winter making plans, checking things on line, even going to just about every playground in Nampa to look at their equipment. When he had the perfect design he had our friend, Vance, who owns a steel welding company, build it for him. Vance then came over and stuck the thing in the sand box, but then the hard work began.
Daron had to bolt the four steel structures together, cut and bolt all the wooden planks, assemble the slide and attach it to the play set, build and attach the chain bridge connecting the two main sections, attach the ropes, etc. At one point, the only way he could get the right angle on the play set was to suspend himself with his climbing harness and get on the outside of it.
