Luke has been a busy boy scout and earned his Wolf Badge. He'll move up to Bears next month when he turns nine. Whenever a boy earns a badge they call up the mom and the boy gives his mother a pin. I always feel guilty because it's Daron who does 99% of the scouting stuff with Luke. Usually it's the moms who have to do it all because the dads are too busy so I feel blessed that Daron takes an interest in this and that it's something they can do together.
After Luke gave me my pin he was all embarrassed because he had to HUG me in front of everyone!
Then, to celebrate the big event, Luke had to find a maraschino cherry with his mouth under a mound of whipping cream. The cub leaders do such a good job of making scouting fun for the boys.
Of course, Gabe had to be front and center to see Luke face plant in the whipped cream.
