The thing Gabe was most excited about was shooting. He learned to load the 22 rifle all by himself and shot over 300 rounds. His aim isn't that great because he can't close one eye yet, but he still loves it.
He loved fishing and caught three fish. The first one flopped out of his hands and freaked him out a bit, but here is a picture of number two.

Gabe's favorite thing about camping was chopping wood. He used a small hatchet and Daron taught him how to chop safely. Gabe chopped and chopped and chopped. He chopped until he had a big blister on his finger and still kept chopping. He also had to make sure they said bye to the camp host, Jack, whom he had only met briefly the day before. Daron didn't even know who he was talking about at first since Jack had only said his name once. But Gabe never forgets a name.
