Family camping

We went on a family camping trip in July. We try to go once each summer although Ian was so young last summer we skipped it. I love watching my kids on our camping trips. They spend hours searching for creatures in the water and sand, skipping rocks, chopping wood, making fires, playing and swimming together. They love to explore and hike and discover everything around them. They love to help set up camp and cook the food. This year we went to Lake Cascade up by McCall and brought our boat with us. It is so beautiful up there! Ian and I shared a tent and he napped and slept at night perfectly! Dad and the other kids slept under a sunshade with mosquito netting. They had planned on sleeping under the stars but the bugs were bad in the evenings.
