The Little Peanut went in for his immunizations today. He turned 17 months on the 19th. The first thing they had me do was strip him down to his diaper so he could get weighed. Ian and I waited while the nurse weighed a six month old baby in front of us. She announced his weight as 20 lbs 6 oz. "Wow!" I thought. "That's a big baby!" I then put Ian on the scale. Here he is a whole year older than that baby and he was only 19 lbs. 14 oz! Technically, he shouldn't even be turned around in his car seat yet! He is by far my pickiest eater so I guess I shouldn't be shocked he weighs so little. They printed off his growth charts: He's in the 1st percentile for his weight (at least he's on the chart). He is 30 1/2 inches long which is the 13th percentile. His head continues to perform well and is in the 51st percentile. The jeans he's wearing in this picture are size 6-12 months.
He says a few words: dog (his favorite), cat, hot. He has started carrying stuffed animals around with him every where. He'll sometimes have his arms so full he can't even see where he's going. He is very ticklish and has the cutest laugh. He still loves to climb and can get up on just about anything.

Here he is climbing up on the kids' computer. He'll sometimes get stuck between the wall and the desk and have to yell until someone comes and rescues him.
