San Antonio

My friend had a $250 voucher to use on United Airlines and told me she'd pay half my ticket to anywhere if I'd go on a trip with her.  Of course I was game, so we decided to go somewhere neither one of us had ever been...San Antonio, Texas.  Daron, being the great husband that he is, was more than willing to juggle work for a few days to be home with the kids and we were off on our adventure. 

Riverwalk

San Antonio is famous for their Riverwalk where they have tons of amazing restaurants and shops.  You can take boat rides on the river, and at night it's all lit up.  It is so beautiful with trees and flowers everywhere!

San Antonio is also where the Alamo took place which I had heard about but didn't know much about until we toured the Alamo.

We also shopped and toured some great museums.  One day we did a cave tour where we saw some huge stalactites and stalagmites.
