Spring Break

The kids get almost three weeks off of school for spring break so Daron took a week off work and we went to Utah to see family and do some skiing. When we drove down the temperature was in the low 70s and we had a great day of spring skiing on Sat. By Sunday night it had started to snow and we went from wearing shorts to building a snowman.

Here is Luke with the base for our snowman.

Gabe helped with the head.

Maryn thought it was more fun to build snowballs and filled the orange sled with them. She then pretended to have a snowball store and let us buy snowballs to pelt each other with. Ian hanging out on the front porch.

Frosty!

While we were in town we celebrated Grandpa Mike's birthday!

We were able to spend time with Jonah and Bronwyn (Ethan was in Moab with his dad).

One morning I took the older three to see the Joseph Smith movie at the Joseph Smith Building downtown. It was a very touching movie and gave me a new appreciation for Joseph Smith and what he and Emma went through. Here is a picture of us at the top floor of the building overlooking the Salt Lake Temple.

We went to the Children's Museum with Adriene and Kristin and their kids.

Ian and Audrey playing in the water.

Ian was having so much fun he decided to climb INTO the water before we could catch him. Needless to say he was soaked, but happy as a clam.

We then went to dinner with my parents and my brother, Ryan, who has decided to quit shaving for a while. Hopefully this will be short lived.

Adriene offered to watch Ian for us while we skiied one day and said she wanted to see if she could handle three. She said it went well so that's a good sign, but I wasn't surprised since she's a great mom. At the last minute it was decided Ian would go home with them and spend the night so he Adriene dressed him in Delylah's most girly PJs.

All ready for bed!
